![]() DoFF projects are a joke with Dil with most only giving 5 dil. Dilithium mining is a joke, You get just slightly more than you do by taking the academy test every day. That they need to either reduce the quantities OR make it easier to gain. ![]() I do agree that because so many things need Dilithium and in HUGE quantities. This is actually preferable to us, because we get a bigger Dilithium Discount that way. Being a small fleet we agreed to move to a Gamma position so a larger fleet could have the Beta. I worked with my Armada Alpha fleet as they just started and they had us in a Beta position. SteamDB has been running ad-free since 2012. This is not to say it is flowing in like a river, but it does happen. Star Trek Online had an all-time peak of 7910 concurrent players on 4 February 2012. We do have generous people in the Armada that have donated Dilithium to us. I now am in a small fleet of some close friends. This is where small fleets can come in handy. So it was difficult to build up fleet credits. I was in a large fleet once and often times never had a chance to donate to projects because they would always be filled. It's the insane amounts of dilithium and typically common doffs that are difficult to fill up even with a big roster. Fleet marks are irrelevant at high tier holdings (they get filled up in seconds). As it is, fleets of roughly equal level/size make sense to form an armada. This is no doubt an issue and needs rebalancing. Conversely the small fleet would gain a hube boost to its resource pool and would gain bonuses from L45. Far too few members to make any difference to projects and L5 worth of bonuses amount to nothing. Why big fleets don't want small fleets as beta/gamma? Quite simple: shared resources for projects and bonuses scale directly with the size of the armada.įor example for an Alpha fleet of lets say L45/350 members, a beta/gamma fleet of L5/10 members is absolutely pointless as they won't benefit the alpha virtually at all. It's only purpose is to quickly portray the maturity and progress of said fleet (It is calculated from the status of fleet holdings, not from number of members).
